We crossed over Idaho driving through Lolo Pass on Rt. 12 West, going through Clearwater Mountains alongside river Lochsa.
It took us over 7 hours to drive with an average speed of 45 miles per hour.
We stopped to have lunch and a potty break for everybody and had a great surprise!
Alongside the river there were patches of blackberries, ripe and sweet, screaming to be picked up! We got two full containers and 6 bellies full of blackberries. Local man on the rest area Mirek got to talk to told us that the blackberry bushes grow all over and are even considered a garden's pest.
Just to give you a better idea of the size of the blackberries in comparison to a quarter.
